Militia of the Immaculata

In October 2020, our community was consecrated to Our Lady under her title of the Immaculate Conception and joined St. Maximilian Kolbe's "Militia of the Immaculata". Each sister received a blessed Miraculous Medal (now worn on our Franciscan Crown Rosaries) and a certificate marking her official membership in the Militia. We renew this consecration communally each month on a feast of Our Lady, read excerpts from St. Maximilian's writings every Saturday morning, post on our bulletin board snippets of his wisdom each day, and most importantly, strive consciously to give ourselves ever more fully to Jesus through the maternal help of the Immaculate Mother of God.
